    The Fiber Technician Apprenticeship Program (FTAP) is designed to transform motivated individuals into “Flex Techs”— specialized professionals capable of implementing and maintaining intricate fiber-optic networks.

Our program is a paid apprenticeship that leads to a full-time position engineered to launch a high-impact career path within this mission-critical industry.

    The FTAP program provides a broad-based understanding of telecom and fiber infrastructure, which includes:

    • Pre-apprenticeship Training: 200 clock hours (80 hours classroom, 120 hours lab/OJT) – 10 weeks in length.
    • Apprenticeship: Enrollment in a paid 2,000-hour Apprenticeship
    • program leading to 12+ certifications.
    • Expert Mentorship: Guidance from experienced engineers and field personnel within the organization
    • Growth: Opportunities to analyze, problem solve, make critical decisions, and assume high-impact responsibilities

    • Strong mechanical skills, manual dexterity, and an interest in technology.
    • Willingness to learn, prioritize safety, and develop expertise in fiber optics.
    • Ability to work well both as part of a team and
      independently.
    • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving
      record.
    • Willingness to travel up to 60% as needed.
    • Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring
      sponsorship.
